Why I'm here: I was living in New York City and having breakfast with friends on a rooftop when 9/11 happened. What I wouldn't have given for a hug at the time. I believe that disasters have negative and important impacts on peoples lives...Anything we can do to ease the pain of a natural or even unnatural disaster is relief worth giving.
