Invisible Children - school fees 10
More than 20 years of war has left the children of Uganda without access to the education they need to lead their country to a peaceful future. Just $25 a month can cover the cost of one month of school fees for a “Visible Child” scholarship recipient, more than 90% of whom have lost at least one parent to war or HIV/AIDS.
IC's goal is to end a 20 year war that has been raging in Northern Uganda, and the kidnapping of children who are then used as child soldiers. In light of the current situation nearing peace, Invisible Children is addressing the need for access to education and economic development.
