Children battling serious medical conditions often spend long periods of time alone and in pain. The Art of Elysium conducts workshops that allow them to take a break from treatments, fear, and boredom, and express themselves through art.
The Art of Elysium encourages all kinds of artists to volunteer time to children who are battling serious medical conditions. The lives of these kids are largely filled with suffering, loneliness, fear, and regimen. Art helps them find a creative voice and sense of individuality, even in the midst of overwhelmingly difficult circumstances.
